Paul Dreux Smith was born and raised in Los Angeles. Moving from neighborhood to neighborhood, simmering away in the melting pot that is LA. Starting out with DJing in high school, he eventually learned to play multiple instruments and graduated from Los Angeles Recording Workshop in 1998.  He then worked his way through the ranks at Skip Saylor Recording in Hollywood. Spending 3 years in the trenches with various artists ranging from Snoop Dogg to Julio Iglesias. While working at Skip’s in 2001, Paul began playing drums for critically acclaimed Cambodian psych rock band Dengue Fever, and continues to tour and record with them.
